BEACON ECOLOGY CENTER

Located In Beacon, NY along the Hudson river waterfront, The beacon Ecological center is a center for the public, where individuals from infants to adults come to inform themselves on the topic of sustainability and explore Sustainable Art while Immersed in an environment made up of plant species from Beacon’s beautiful ecology.

The idea was not only to design subterranean realm that embodies an ecology of its own, but also to design a building that serves as a function to alleviate flood waters by rerouting them back into the river.
